Boxed-Up Hailed For Encouraging Opportunities For Women
Boxed-Up and Belmont Packaging has been hailed for encouraging more women into the manufacturing sector.

This month BDAILY have praised owner/ director Kate Hulley for setting the standard of women looking to pursue a career within the manufacturing field, with her female-led, fresh and energetic workforce.

Kate Hulley is company’s first female owner and recognises the significance of this, commenting: “Manufacturing is a sector I feel passionately about and figures show only a quarter of the industry workforce (26%) are actually women, so of course I would like to encourage more women to seek out careers in such a fascinating and diverse industry.“

Kate bought the company back in 2013 and has since made a lasting impression on all who have the pleasure of working with her. Ultimately the energy and tenacious attitude Kate brings to the company has forged some lasting working relationships which include some high profile retailers such as Roots, hallmark and New balance.

None are prouder of the encouragement Kate provides, then her team. E-commerce Manager Rachel commented: “We’re all an extremely close team who are often found multi-tasking, overlapping departments and supporting one another to ensure we produce the best results in what is historically a male dominated industry.“
